Pearls are the focus of Eva Strepp's work. Therefore, only the finest quality is used. They are virtually flawless, possess a beautiful luster, and exhibit a vibrant play of colors. The color spectrum of white pearls is vast, ranging from cool, bluish tones to warm rose and cream hues. Each pearl is carefully selected and color-coordinated. For jewelry made of silver or steel, Eva Strepp chooses cool colors, while for gold, she selects warm tones. The jewelry pieces are created using a few, sparingly applied materials—just enough to allow the pearls to be worn. With the simple and clean lines of the jewelry, impeccable craftsmanship is essential. The pearls are primarily drilled by hand, but also milled, sawed, and polished. To prevent damage to the upper layers of the pearls, careful and precise work is crucial – experience gained over years of working with pearls.
